(OLF News, August 6, 2009) The hope and shield of the Oromo people, the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) Eastern Command, reported that our gallant OLA freedom fighters have put over 25 TPLF led [Ethiopian] invading troops out of action in Eastern Oromia, Western Harargee Zone. The operation of OLA occurred on two days on July 12, 2009 and July 21, 2009. On July 12, 2009 our heroic fighters have placed a trap and engaged the invading TPLF led army in the district of Habroo, around machaaraa at a place known as Dikicha in which they killed 11 and injured over 9 enemy troops. On the second operation OLA fighters placed another trap on a group of enemy troops dispatched for search of OLA the same Western Haragee zone in the district of Daaroo Labuu, around machaaraa at a place known as Qarba Takkee, instantly killing 5 enemy troops and injuring several others. In these operations our gallant fighters have captured several automatic guns, hand grenades, and ammunitions from the enemy.
